Gladiators - Oblivion's Apprentice rant
Monday, 12 May 2008
Oblivion is determined to be as bad as Wolf.
Nicholas Aldis loves being Oblivion on the new series of Gladiators.
He wants people to hate him.
Nicholas revealed all to The Telegraph: "I play a Gladiator called Oblivion, who is the baddie of the show, just like Wolf in the old series."
He isn't afraid of hurting the contestants who go up against him: "In the Powerball round, I left a contestant bleeding, bent and surrounded by medics."
Nicholas is enjoying the attention he's getting now he's a Gladiator: "I did some interviews in character with Capital Gold radio and my local rag, Norfolk's Lynn News.
"I said I'd thrown an old lady across a road and beaten off the police with my pugil stick."
He isn't a fan of The Apprentice: "Over dinner I ranted about how stupid the contestants are on The Apprentice.
"The Gladiators could eat them for breakfast."
