Gladiators - Ian Wright's Lineker wish

Ian Wright wants Gary Lineker to appear on 'Gladiators', so he can watch him get "pummelled".
Ian - who quit his role as BBC football commentator last month after accusing fellow pundits of using him as a "court jester" - said he would love to see the former footballer appear on the Sky One show to exact revenge on Gary after he started a public spat.
The spat started when Gary blasted the former Arsenal player for his comments against the BBC, saying: "We've got vital games at both ends of the table. It's all too serious now for any court jesting."
Now Ian - who described the jibe as "in really bad taste" has hit back, saying: "I'd like to see Gary take the gladiators on. I'd like to see him get pummelled.
A source close to the sportsman added: "Ian was really hurt by Gary's comments, so he wouldn't mind seeing Gary get a good kicking on 'Gladiators'."
Ian starts presenting 'Gladiators' on Sunday (11.05.08).
