Verity Rushworth's musical hope
Wednesday, 15 October 2008
Verity Rushworth wants to star in a musical after leaving 'Emmerdale'.
The actress - who plays Donna Windsor-Dingle in the ITV soap - says she is already planning her next career move, despite not having officially left the show yet.
She said: "I want to star in a musical. I want that buzz of being in front of a live audience. I'm even looking forward to the nerves! I would love to play Eponine in 'Les Miserables', and the part of Penny in 'Hairspray' would be really good too."
However, Verity hasn't ruled out a return to 'Emmerdale' if producers decide not to kill her character off.
She added: "Donna is one of those characters you could bring back as a completely changed person. There's an opportunity to have her return full of confidence, having lived in the real world for a while. Or maybe she could come back as a b***h to rock things up a bit!"
