Matthew Bose is not afraid to tell women they are overweight.
The 'Emmerdale' actor - who plays Paul Lambert in the soap - has revealed many of his female co-stars ask him to come shopping for clothes with them as he always gives an honest opinion.
He said: "Liz Estensen, Diane in 'Emmerdale', is never afraid to tell you when you're wrong. But I'm like that, too, which is why all the girls love to take me shopping with them - unlike their girlfriends, I'll tell them when they look big in something!"
The 35-year-old actor also admits he was initially shocked when he was asked to audition for the role of Paul - who arrived on the show as a drag artist - but quickly came round to the idea of wearing women's clothes.
He said: "My agent said, 'How do you feel about wearing a dress on national television?' That's how he pitched the part of Paul to me. Of course, I said that would depend on where the dress was from!"
