Mark Little to join 'Emmerdale'
Tuesday, 21 April 2009
'Emmerdale' is set to sign up ex-'Neighbours' star Mark Little.
The Australian actor- who played character Jo Mangle in the Australian soap - is said to be on the verge of transferring to the Yorkshire dales full time to star in the ITV soap.
Mark made a cameo appearance in 'Emmerdale' last year as womaniser Jonty DeLorean, but wasn't able to commit to the character full time, as he had commitments with a London stage show.
Mark said: "It went very well on 'Emmerdale', but because I'd committed to the stage show it was hard to stay longer. However, I'm told Jonty will be back. I can definitely see him ruffling feathers in future."
Anne Charleston, who also used to star in 'Neighbours' also moved to 'Emmerdale' in 2006, but has recently announced she will be leave the show this year.
The soap also features another Australian, Emily Symons, who stars as Louise Appleton and previously starred in 'Neighbours' rival show 'Home and Away'.
