Gunman terrorizes Emmerdale

Sammy Winward has revealed a mystery gunman will hold several 'Emmerdale' characters hostage in an upcoming storyline.
The actress - who plays Katie Sugden in the soap - said the attacker holds four people at gun point before a violent showdown.
She said: "During the village show, Katie and Matthew are taken hostage at Home Farm by a crazed gunman.
"They know who it is, it's not a stranger. But no one knows who he is before it's screened."

The terrifying scenes also see Jimmy and Carl King succumb to the maniac as they walk into his trap.
Sammy added to Soaplife magazine: "They end up captured too! They walk straight into the office where Katie and Matthew are being held and the gunman's lying in wait for them behind the door."
The actress also revealed one of the characters will be shot at the end of the tense confrontation, but refused to say who it will be.
She said: "Someone ends up getting shot but you'll have to watch to find out whether it's Katie, one of the Kings or maybe the gunman himself!"
