Jeremy Edwards thinks Ray Quinn won 'Dancing On Ice' too easily.

The ex-'Hollyoaks' actor believes the programme's champion didn't have to work as hard as other contestants in order to win.

Jeremy - who also starred on the show but was voted off in the third week - said: "I was training with Ray before the show went on air. I saw him come on and jump and do the splits and everything, he could do all that stuff on day one. He was already an inline skater and he's a professional dancer.

"It's like me doing karate and boxing, then entering a kickboxing competition and going 'oh f***ing hell, I've never done this before but I'm finding it strangely easy.' Of course it is."

Jeremy, 38, is also upset the British voting public didn't give him more of a chance on the show, which saw Ray beat Donal MacIntyre and Liberty X singer Jessica Taylor in the final in March.

Speaking to BANG showbiz at the Radox Shower Smoothies Awards Jeremy added: "I tried really hard, trained extra hard - I put in more hours than anybody. If I'd had a couple more weeks I'm sure I would have come good. You're still suffering from nerves on week three.

"The fact that Michael Underwood went out the week after me, I mean I think people were harder on us because we were the strongest - but it's not all about skating is it?"

Jeremy was picked up the award for Smoothest Male at the awards, which took place in London last night (21.04.09).
