Melinda Messenger has been voted off 'Dancing On Ice'.

The model-turned-presenter found herself competing in the skate-off for the fourth time last night (22.02.09) before the judges voted unanimously to save former Liberty X singer Jessica Taylor.

Jessica and dancing partner Pavel Aubrecht earlier scored the second-highest of the night with 24.5 out of 30.

38-year-old Melinda who was partnered with Fred Palascak - seemed resigned to her fate before taking to the ice for the second time.

She joked beforehand: "I may as well go and get my flowers now. But if it is the last time I just want to go and have fun."

Former 'The X Factor' star Ray Quinn again scored the highest of the celebrity contestants with 29.5.

Only judge Jason Gardiner failed to give him and partner Maria Filipov a perfect score.

The singer is widely predicted to win the show and his "smug" attitude is said to be angering the other contestants.

A source said: To say that Ray has rubbed a few celebs up the wrong way is an understatement. They feel his dancing ability has given him an unfair advantage from day one.

"But more importantly they hate the fact that he knows it. Each week, his performance gets stronger and each week viewers see him accepting praise with a shocked look on his face. But some people backstage believe his 'shock' isn't real."

'Dancing On Ice' is shown on Sundays on ITV1.
