Dancing On Ice - Suzanne Shaw's son victory
Tuesday, 18 March 2008
Suzanne Shaw won 'Dancing on Ice' for her three-year-old son Corey.
The former Hear'Say singer - who beat 'Hollyoaks' heartthrob Chris Fountain to be crowned winner of the TV ice-skating show on Sunday (16.03.08) - insists all the hard work she put in was for Corey, her son from her relationship with renowned love rat Darren Day.
She said: "Winning is all for Corey. When every bone in my body hurt and I was exhausted I thought of his little face and felt more driven than ever.
"He's the reason I work so hard. But I don't want to spoil Corey or give him a starry upbringing like the Beckham boys, just the education and lifestyle he needs. Now we're going to have some time together. I'll take him to a farm where he can feed all the newborn lambs. He'd love that more than anything."
Suzanne has also revealed Corey almost missed her moment of triumph, because he was desperate to go to the toilet.
She added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Corey was in tears when I won as he needed the toilet - he was desperate for a wee!"
