Dancing On Ice - Chris Fountain is the bookies' favourite
Wednesday, 12 March 2008
Chris Fountain remains the bookies' favourite to win Dancing On Ice, William Hill has asserted.
Last week, the Daily Star reported that former Pop Idol runner-up Gareth Gates was named as a dark horse in the competition, with 1/5 odds to win at both William Hill and Ladbrokes.
However, when the 23-year-old singer was booted from the competition following a skate-off with ex-Coronation Street star Zaraah Abrahams on Sunday, Chris once again became the celeb tipped as most likely to win the ice dancing competition.
William Hill is now claiming that Chris has 1/5 odds to win the competition, followed by Hear'Say singer Suzanne Shaw at 7/2 and Zaraah Abrahams at 14/1.
Chris announced earlier this month that he has made a deal with Hollyoaks that allows him to have Fridays off so he can join the Dancing On Ice tour, which is travelling around the UK in April and May.
Meanwhile, Dancing On Ice presenter Holly Willoughby has been given 10/1 odds of winning the title of FHM Sexiest Woman 2008 - giving her a lead against fellow contenders Jessica Alba, Hayden Panettierre, Cheryl Cole and Eva Longoria.
