Craig Kelly's Rosie comeuppance
Tuesday, 17 November 2009
Craig Kelly believes Rosie Webster deserved to be conned out of money.
The former 'Coronation Street' star says he was pleased his alter-ego Luke Strong convinced the teen temptress to sign over all her assets because he felt she needed to get her comeuppance.
He said: "I had a great time playing a rogue. Helen Flanagan, who plays Rosie, is an absolute sweetheart but Rosie as a character is a bit mouthy. She had it coming, I think."
Craig quit the show after less than a year but hasn't ruled out a return to Weatherfield.
He told the Blackpool Citizen: "I don't get chance to play those sort of roles. They are juicier. So I'd never say never to going back."
After leaving 'Coronation Street' Craig took part in 'Strictly Come Dancing' and is pleased he has now been voted off the BBC talent show.
He said: "I'm not missing 'Strictly' at all. It's a great relief to not have to train every day. I've been really chilling out and catching up on things that I'd had to put on hold."
