Vicky Binns wants Molly heartache

Vicky Binns wants her 'Coronation Street' alter-ego to have her heart broken.

The actress - who plays Molly Dobbs in the ITV soap - says the corner shop assistant needs to get a taste of her medicine after cheating on husband Tyrone with his boss and friend Kevin Webster.

She said: "There's a huge age difference between them, and when the fun's gone, I'm not sure it'll last. Molly's not prepared at all for the backlash that will follow if their affair comes out - she's completely naive. Kevin's been in that situation before, though, so he knows the reality of the devastation it will cause. But that's fine, because I think Molly needs to get her heart broken - she's living in a dreamworld at the moment."

Vicky also thinks it will be an interesting storyline if Molly gets pregnant.

She told Inside Soap magazine: "I don't know if it'll happen, but it would be a nightmare. Still, I think Molly would make a good mum. Having an affair is a selfish act, but this would put another slant on it, because Molly would have someone else to think about."
