Tina O'Brien's 'Coronation Street' return?
Tuesday, 23 June 2009
Tina O'Brien is considering returning to 'Coronation Street'.
The 25-year-old actress - who played Sarah-Louise Platt on the ITV soap from 1999 to 2007 - is ready to return to the workforce after giving birth to his first baby Scarlett last October.
When asked if she would ever go back to the show that made her famous, Tina said: "I don't know. My character hasn't been written out, but maybe it is time to try something new.
"Because I'm a mum now I'm quite restricted, so I couldn't go to London or anywhere out of Manchester, really."
But Tina - who is living with Ryan Thomas, who played her onscreen husband Jason Grimshaw - is still exhausted from looking after Scarlett and is unsure if she's got enough energy to act.
She explained to New! magazine: "She's teething, so I'm up throughout the night at the moment. Last night I was up at 1.30am, and then every two hours after that. I feel shattered. I constantly feel knackered.
"I don't really get to catch up on my missed sleep because I am always doing other things, like tidying up and housework. I can't remember the last time I had a good night's sleep."
