Samia Smith is pregnant.
The 'Coronation Street' actress has announced she is expecting a baby, only days after suffering the loss of her father to cancer.

Samia, 26, is thirteen weeks pregnant with her first child by husband Matt Smith. The baby is due in the autumn.
Samia's character, hairdresser Maria Connor, is also pregnant in the soap and viewers will this week see her go for an ultrasound scan, showing her with a fake pregnant stomach.
Maria told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I am so pleased that we were able to tell my dad about the baby before he died.
"I have been pregnant on screen for the best part of the past two years and as soon as I get rid of the fake baby bump I will have a real one."
'Coronation Street' is undergoing something of a baby boom at the moment, as Samia joins a number of cast members in having a baby this year.
So far Andy Whyment (Kirk Sutherland) , Ryan Thomas (Jason Grimshaw) and Jack P Shepherd (David Platt) have all become fathers, while Julia Haworth (Claire Peacock), Wanda Oaplinska (Wiki Dankowska), Alison King (Carla Connor) and Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) have all given birth.
On the expecting list are Simon Gregson (Steve MacDonald) and Graeme Hawley (John Stape) who will also both become fathers by the end of the year.
