Rosie Webster's corporate seduction

Saturday, 6 June 2009

'Coronation Street's Rosie Webster is going to seduce her boss.

The saucy office assistant - who had an affair with her teacher John Stape, who later kidnapped her - will finally bed Luke Strong, co-owner of Underworld, the lingerie company she works for.

Actress Helen Flanagan, who plays Rosie, said: "I think she's attracted to the power and money. Rosie knows that she can use her womanly wiles to get what she wants. In the long run, she wants a life away from Weatherfield.

"Thinking about it, Rosie's actually tried it on with all of her bosses! They've all knocked her back apart from Luke and now she's thinking: 'I've finally got one!' There is this chemistry between her and Luke. He's charming, though, and obviously very attractive. He's got this cheeky side, too."

Looking further into the future, Helen hopes Rosie continues to charm older men because she enjoys doing scenes with more experienced actors.

She told TV website Digital Spy: "It's nice working with the older cast. You become good friends and they teach you so much because they're so experienced."
