Katherine Kelly's kind Renee
Thursday, 22 October 2009
Katherine Kelly has revealed Renee Zellweger bought iPods for all her crew members.
The 'Coronation Street' actress - who plays Becky McDonald in the ITV soap - visited Bucharest in Romania to film a spin-off DVD of the soap and spent a lot of time where the Oscar-winning actress filmed 'Cold Mountain' in 2003.
She said many of the cast for the TV show had worked alongside the 'Bridget Jones' star and had only praise for her.
She explained: "They told us the cast were really nice. Renee bought everyone pizza and treated them all to iPods when the film was finished."
Katherine recently revealed she was forced to wear her alter-ego's tacky clothes after her suitcase went missing when she flew to Romania.
She said: "My suitcase didn't arrive for two days and I phoned the producer. He was panicking because he thought it was Becky's giant leopard-print suitcase. He didn't seem bothered when I explained it was my personal one.
"It turned up, thank God, because I was sick of wearing Becky's gear."
