Jennie McAlpine's Fiz ego

Jennie McAlpine says her Dad sometimes calls her Fiz, the name of her 'Coronation Street' character.
The actress - who has appeared in the ITV soap since 2001 - admits even her closest relations sometimes mistakenly call her by her alter ego.
She said: "I don't go out and about so much. I have a Siamese cat, Mia, and she's so much trouble I'm at home looking after her.

"People do recognise me when I go out, which is a lovely thing. I don't get annoyed when people call me Fiz - even my Dad calls me it sometimes - and I really love to meet the fans. They pay our wages!"
Jennie also revealed her celebrity crush, and admits she is desperate to meet him.
She added to Britain's New! magazine: "It's not a secret - I love Russell Brand! I think he's gorgeous, just gorgeous. I got his book for Christmas. I asked for him but got his book instead! I like his imperfect hair and scruffy chic style. He's an original, eccentric Englishman."
