Coronation Street - Liam is in trouble

It's the morning after the night before for Liam (Rob James Collier).
He's horrified when he wakes up on Carla's sofa with a thick head.
Knowing Maria will be furious he leaves immediately but Carla (Alison King) is more than a little smug knowing the trouble he will be in.
Meanwhile Maria (Samia Smith) is indeed furious, especially when she hears from Claire (Julia Haworth) that Carla sent Liam's cab away.
She leaves Liam to recover from his hangover and heads out to work.
A busy day at the salon is just the distraction she needs from her concerns about Liam and Carla.
Marcus (Charlie Condou) pops in for a trim; he can tell she is tired and assumes it is the baby keeping her awake.
Maria puts him straight, Liam is the one causing her problems, the baby has been quiet for days. Marcus is amused by Liam's behaviour but can't help but be concerned about Maria's baby not moving.
He insists she pay a visit to the hospital and she agrees just to keep him quiet. Refusing to take a hungover Liam with her she asks Marcus to go instead, convinced nothing is wrong.
However events take a devastating turn when first the midwife and then the sonographer fail to find a heartbeat...
