It is the day of the baby's funeral and Maria (Samia Smith) is still insisting that she won't attend.
Audrey (Sue Nicholls) tries to convince her that is is a bad idea but Maria is sure she will make things worse with Liam (Rob James Collier) by going.
Carla meanwhile is still offering her support to Liam and accompanies him to the church. Will Maria change her mind and be there to bury her son?
Claire (Julia Haworth) is dellighted that Ashley (Steven Arnold) has agreed to the house swap and she and Sally (Sally Whittaker) set the wheels in motion for the estate agents to value the properties.
The women seem to have the whole plan mapped out but neither Kevin (Michael Le Vell) nor Ashley are convinced this is the answer.
Fiz (Jennie Mcalpine) and Julie (Katy Cavanagh) are still battling it out to be the one who works out whatever it is that is troubling Chesney (Sam Aston).
He tries to use Kirk's (Andrew Whyment) grief over Maria's baby as an excuse not to go to school but Julie sees through it and sends him anyway. What is eating Chesney?
