Alison King's smoking shock

Pregnant 'Coronation Street' star Alison King has been ordered to start smoking again by soap bosses.
The actress, who plays factory boss Carla Connor, quit smoking when she found out she was expecting her first child with the show's sound assistant Adam Huckett, but was left horrified when she read the script telling her to start puffing away again.

Alison, 35, will reportedly be given herbal cigarettes to minimise the risk to her unborn baby, due next February.
A friend told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "She isn't best pleased. It was hard enough for her to give up in real life. Even inhaling smoke from herbal tobacco surely can't be a good thing for a mum-to-be."
In the storyline, Carla will be seen taking a fag from chain-smoking Deirdre Barlow, played by Anne Kirkbride. Carla will be seen inhaling during a heart-to-heart chat outside the Rovers Return pub.
After asking Deirdre for a cig, Carla will say: "It's been 13 years since I had one."
The script then instructs Alison to "take a good long drag".
Alison announced she was just over three months pregnant earlier this month, a year after falling in love with Adam, 29.
