Jamie Oliver has banned people from kissing him at book signings.
The TV chef - whose wife Jools recently announced she is expecting the couple's third child - introduced the rule because he is terrified of catching herpes.
He said: "At a book signing, I told a security guard, 'Look, you know, I'm very loyal to my wife and if I have to keep kissing these birds, right, it's only a numbers game before I get herpes. And once you've got it... it never goes."
Jamie laughed the bouncer told the "quite tasty ones" they were not allowed to kiss him, but "every time the really minging one with flapjack on her lip, who obviously had a bit of herpes came around, he would make her kiss me".
The 33-year-old personality also revealed he used to be bombarded by sexy female fans at signings, but things have now changed.
He added to Absolute radio: "In the old days of book signings I used to get the knickers and the bras... It was good. Filth whispered in my ears.
"They're just bored of my now. I'm just that guy who keeps doing these worthy things around the country!"
