Wendy Richard a liability in Benidorm

Wendy Richard admits she was an on-set liability as she filmed her scenes for ITV comedy 'Benidorm'.
The 64-year-old actress - who is best known for playing miserable Pauline Fowler in 'EastEnders' for almost 22 years - had to use a motorised chair when she played a rude chain-smoking OAP in the Spanish-based show.
Wendy - who has never passed her driving test - said: "Every time I was filming a scene on the marble flooring and I had to 'drive' out of the shot, everyone would run a mile as they knew I could so easily crash into them.
"If I wasn't zooming into a broom cupboard I was knocking over potted palms."
Wendy quit 'EastEnders' in 2006 when her character remarried.
She claimed Pauline would never have committed herself to another man after her beloved husband Arthur died.
She said at the time: "I didn't think it was right. I work by instinct and have to believe what we're doing. I just couldn't believe Pauline would remarry. I made myself ill fretting about it."
