Katie Price and Peter Andre's chat show has been axed after just one series.
'Katie and Peter: Unleashed' - which saw the celebrity couple interview guests including 'Coronation Street' star Jack P. Shepherd and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger - was deemed too trashy for TV by ITV bosses.
A source said: "It was always a risk. Jordan and Peter are an engaging couple and people like them but it soon became apparent that they are not chat show hosts. No one ever took it that seriously but we hoped it would be a flirty, cheeky show like Charlotte Church does or Lilly Allen."
However, Katie - who found fame as a glamour model under the name of Jordan - and Peter are said to be fine with the decision to cut the show, and are keen to concentrate on their reality TV show 'Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter' and their various other venture.
The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "They weren't too fussed. They know it wasn't their finest hour!"
