As Chico prepared to board his first CelebAir flight he decided to tell MyParkmag exactly how he was feeling.

Chico's real name is Yousseph Slimani and he was born in Wales.
Chico first burst onto our TV screens in 2005 when he appeared on The X Factor. We all remember when he impressed Ozzy Osbourne by risking his life by jumping into a swimming pool with a live microphone. This is something Ozzy said even he wasn't mad enough to do.
When he released his first single (Chico Time) it knocked Madonna off the Top of the Charts. As well as singing Chico has tried his hand at writing, producing and acting. His film 'Winner Takes All' actually received a BAFTA nomination.

How am I feeling about taking part in CelebAir?
"I can't wait. I promise you this has opened my eyes completely to cabin crew and what they have to go through. I have to say
I take my hat off to them and it's given me a new insight and a new understanding and, most of all, a great deal of respect for them. So I can't wait because we have worked very, very hard and it's good to put everything into practise."
Am I excited or nervous?
"To be honest for me most of it has been difficult and I think most of the people would say the same thing. Obviously some find it easier than others. For me I've got to say it's been an uphill struggle, and pure hard work and determination is what's got me through."
Any holiday disasters?
"Nothing major, just delays and lost luggage."
My three travel essentials?
"Prayer beads, sarong and washbag."
