Susan Boyle gets heavy metal respect

'Britain's Got Talent' star Susan Boyle has an unlikely fan - Slipknot singer Corey Taylor.
The heavy metal vocalist says he was alerted to the Scottish spinster by friends and was amazed when he saw footage of her performances on the internet.
He said: "Susan Boyle was incredible. Somebody told me about the show and I said, 'I've got to see this' - 'I Dreamed A Dream', are you kidding me' I put it on and she was fantastic.
"When Susan Boyle leans into it she's great. She's a little bit crazy - but aren't we all. Anyone who's worth their salt is a little bit bent out of shape."
'Wait and Bleed' singer Corey - who wears a 'decaying face' mask onstage - also admitted he is a big fan of UK talent search shows and admires those who take part.
The US rocker added to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "When it works, 'The X Factor' and all that is cool.
"It's true talent and such a stage to show people what you can do."
Meanwhile, 'Britain's Got Talent' judge Piers Morgan has predicted great things for 48-year-old singer Susan - who spent five days in the Priory clinic - but warned she needs to be "protected".
He said: "Susan's a fighter - she needs the right people around her. She is a superstar and has to be protected."
