Stavros Flately in 'Britain's Got Talent' final

Stavros Flatley were the shock winners of last night's 'Britain's Got Talent' semi-final.

The father-and-son comedy dance act - who perform a mixtures of Greek dancing with Irish Riverdance -wore Fez hats, white skirts and tights with black shoes during their routine, and were amazed to be voted through by viewers.

Judges Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden all giggled as they watched the act, and were full of praise afterwards.

Simon said: "It is rubbish but brilliant. It is incredibly infectious. The final would be a worse place without you."

Amanda agreed: "I just love, love, love, love, love you. It is everything that this show should be about."

The act - Demetrios Demetriou and son Lagi - first started dancing together to keep guests at their family restaurant amused. Last night, they were joined on stage by backing dancers who used to work with them at the restaurant.

12-year-old singer Shaheen Jafargholi, who gave a powerful rendition of 'And I Am Telling You' from musical 'Dreamgirls', also made in through to the final, with Piers telling him he was the best singer seen during the semi-finals.

The two acts will join dance groups Diversity and Flawless, and singers Susan Boyle and Shaun Smith in Saturday's live final (30.05.09).

The six acts who missed out on a place in the final were dance acts Harmony, Ben and Becky and MD Showgroup, wheelbarrow stunt team The Barrow Boys, 'human saxophone' Kay Oresanya, and opera/flower arranging duo Floral Highnotes.

Meanwhile, Demi Moore has confirmed she will be flying from the US to the UK to watch Saturday's show.

The actress is a huge fan of Susan Boyle -Demi left messages on social networking website Twitter praising her after her audition -and decided to come over after Simon Cowell offered to pay for her and husband Ashton Kutcher's flights.

More semi-finals heats are being held on Thursday (28.05.09) and Friday (29.05.09).

However, the future of burlesque dancer Fabia Cerra -who famously bared her 42F breasts during her audition and is due to appear on Thursday -is in doubt after she slipped a disc.

A source said: "She's in a lot of pain and sometimes can't feel her left leg."
