Diversity to dance at the Whitehouse
Tuesday, 23 June 2009
Diversity are being lined up to perform at the White House.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' winners are awaiting an invitation to perform in front of US President Barack Obama after catching the eye of his wife Michelle while she was in London recently.
The 45-year-old First Lady and her daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, seven, were so impressed by the all-male street dancing troupe, they are desperate to see them live and are considering flying them to the US.
A source told Britain's New! magazine: "Michelle was really impressed with what Ashley Banjo and the boys achieved - and the inspirational effect they had on the UK. She's really keen to get them over for a visit."
Diversity might be most famous, but 'Britain's Got Talent' runners up Flawless are earning more money.
The similar north London urban dance troupe were beaten in the talent show's finale last month, but are now earning £12,000 for just two routines, while Diversity only charge £10,000.
The dancers are also not the only runners-up from the show to earn more than the winners.
Show favourite Susan Boyle is reportedly charging a private appearance fee of £100,000 per 12-minute set. She also stands for make an estimated £6 million from her debut album.
