Diversity get Kanye's chopper
Wednesday, 1 July 2009
Kanye West has hired a helicopter so Diversity can perform with him.
The 'Love Lockdown' hitmaker is a big fan of the 'Britain's Got Talent' winning dance troupe and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure they appear backing with at London's Wireless Festival on Sunday (05.07.09).
A source said: "Kanye loves Diversity's moves and told Wireless bosses he wanted them on the bill, no matter what.
"Unfortunately, it looked like it might not happen as the lads are tied to the 'Britain's Got Talent' tour and the last night - in Bournemouth - is also on Sunday.
"Kanye insisted there would be away round it and has agreed to foot the bill for a helicopter to jet them between the two venues.
"Diversity are thrilled and hope they get some time to stick around and hang out with him."
Meanwhile, it has been claimed the dance group were to be paid £10,000-a-night to appear at Michael Jackson's 50-date London residency.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The boys signed their deal last week. They were over the moon. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
