Britain's Got Talent - Simon Cowell to offer Andrew Johnston a record deal
Monday, 2 June 2008
The music mogul wants to sign young singers Andrew Johnston, Faryl Smith and classical group Escala to his Syco Music label.
He told the official Britain's Got Talent website: "Our priority is, of course, the winner. We put all we have behind him.
"But we will be talking to Andrew, Faryl and Escala at some point this week."
He has already made talent TV show winners Leona Lewis, Shayne Ward and Leon Jackson big stars.
A Britain's Got Talent insider revealed all to the News and Star newspaper: "Simon thinks Andrew has the potential to sell millions of records, not just in this country but around the world.
"Opera singer Paul Potts has had amazing success since winning the show and it's clear Andrew is in with a fantastic chance of doing the same."
Andrew is going to take time out to think about his future: "I want to see how the tour goes first before I make up my mind.
"I am really looking forward to touring. I like being with all the people and we all get on really well."
