Britain's Got Talent - Madonna Decia

Britain's Got Talent - Madonna Decia needs to work every night

Monday, 21 April 2008

Madonna Decia missed her first TV performance on Saturday because she was too busy working.

Madonna can't afford to have a night off.

She sings in pubs and clubs so she can support her children in the Philippines.

Madonna told The Mirror: "I was singing in the club so I didn't see my performance.

"I told the crowd that I was on TV but none of them went to watch. I finally saw it at 1am."

She is now a favourite to win Britain's Got Talent: "I don't have a big ambition. Before I had children I dreamed of being a huge star but now I just dream for them.

"When I am at home I sing Filipino songs to them. They have a CD of me singing that they listen to when they miss me."

If Madonna makes it through to the final she is hoping her children can fly over to watch her perform.

She wants to say a thank you to Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden for giving her this opportunity: "I have a lot of respect for Simon.

"He's changed the music industry to make ordinary people's dreams come true."
