Britain's Got Talent - Faryl Smith's school vow
Tuesday, 13 May 2008
Faryl Smith has promised to return to school even if she wins Britain's Got Talent.
Faryl impressed everyone at the Britain's Got Talent auditions when she sang Ave Maria.
The school girl has told her teachers she will be returning to Southfield School as soon as Britain's Got Talent finishes.
Faryl would love the opportunity to sing in front of Prince Charles but has vowed to carry on with her education.
Last years winner Paul Potts has performed all over the world and secured number 1s in several countries.
Faryl's teacher told her local paper: "Her performance on Saturday was fantastic and she's got the potential of a very bright future ahead of her.
"Faryl has made it very clear that she wants to continue with her education at Southfield.
"We have seen her perform at school and know what a talent she is. We are immensely proud of her."
All three Britain' Got Talent judges were impressed with Faryl's performance.
Simon Cowell told her: "Forget the fact that you're 12 – it was extraordinary. It's certainly the best audition I have heard this year."
Amanda Holden added: "That was absolutely breathtaking – it's given me goosebumps."
