Britain's Got Talent - Dean Wilson's Miss Saigon performance impresses everyone
Saturday, 3 May 2008
Dean Wilson makes it through to the next round of Britain's Got Talent tonight.
Dean got a fantastic response when he made his way on stage.
Women in the audience started to wolf whistle as he took his place in front of the microphone.
He started to perform an extract from Miss Saigon but as he sang 'Why God Why' he was stopped by Simon.
Simon asked Dean if he could sing something else because he hated the song.
Dean couldn't as he didn't have any more music with him. The audience haven't seen enough so they start chanting "sing it sing it."
Reluctantly Simon let him carry on.
Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden were very impressed and gave him a standing ovation.
Amanda told him: "I could see the passion and the hunger in you."
Dean has told The Mirror about why he loves acting: "I didn't want to tell the people at school about my singing and dancing as I thought they'd probably think I was a bit girly and say I should be doing boxing and football, but that's not for me, I just want to perform on a stage.
"Dancing and singing has been my only love, this competition means the world to me I want to fulfil my dream where I can perform in front of millions."
