Britain's Got Talent - Andrew Johnston will win
Wednesday, 23 April 2008
Opera singer Andrew Johnston is the favourite to win Britain's Got Talent.
Andrew hopes to follow in the footsteps of last years winner Paul Potts.
Bookmaker Sky Bet has installed him as the 6/4 favourite to win the entertainment show.
After already wowing the panel of judges with his talent, the young opera singer is 5/1 to get a UK number one single this year.
Helen Jacob, Sky Bet entertainment manager said: "We're only into week two of the show but already we've had requests from customers wanting to back Andrew.
"We reckon he's this year's Connie Talbot and think he's destined for the final."
Andrew's emotional audition brought Amanda Holden to tears and the bookie quotes 2/1 for her NOT to cry during the grand final.
Meanwhile, other hits on the show include Gin the dog who is 10/1 to appear in a dog food advertisement and string sensation Scala who are priced at 2/1 to land a number one album in the classical charts.
