Sara and Lisa up for Big Brother eviction £25,000 richer

Aussie Sara Folino and fitness fanatic Lisa Appleton won £25,000 each just minutes after being nominated for eviction on last night's live Big Brother show.

Big Brother threw up an array of surprises for the eight remaining Big Brother housemates just ten days before the official end of the marathon reality show.

The first came when the housemates had to nominate a fellow housemate for the final time in front of each other rather than in the diary room.

Sara and Lisa received the most nominations from their fellow housemates and will therefore face the public vote on Friday.

But just 5 minutes after receiving this cruel, unexpected blow, the pair were then called into the task room and given the chance to play a game of jeopardy to win a jackpot of £50,000.

The two had the choice to share or take the £50,000 cash. If they both chose to share then they would share the £50,000; if one chose to take then she would get the £50,000 all to herself; and if they both chose to take then no one would win.

But seeing how close the two have been in recent weeks, there was never any doubt in theirs, or viewers' minds as to what they'd choose to do.

So as expected, they both chose to share, winning £25,000 each.

And if one of them goes on to win, they will win a total of £125,000!

Not bad for 12 weeks' work.
