John and Edward for Big Brother?

John and Edward have reportedly been offered 300,000 Euros to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

Channel 4 are said to be so keen to sign 'The X Factor' finalists for the last edition of its celebrity reality show in January, it has made the high bid to entice them to appear.

A source told the Irish Herald newspaper: "The first TV deal they make is really crucial as it will literally make or break them in terms of their career, so they have to be cautious about what they agree to.

"Some of things they've been offered would turn them into total laughing stocks, but 'Celebrity Big Brother' is definitely a possibility"

The Irish twins are fast forging a career for themselves after their energetic, but out of tune appearances on 'The X Factor', and are reportedly commanding up £40,000 an appearance - ten times as much as other acts kicked off the show.

The source added: "They're both so energetic and have big personalities, they would be a great addition to the celebrity line-up."

The Big Brother producers are not the only people keen on the twins - Sir Paul McCartney recently rushed to meet them at 'The X Factor' final this weekend.

A source said: "Paul told Simon and Louis he loved the show and watched every week. He said his favourite act were John and Edward as they were so 'breathtakingly awfully brilliant' - and that his young daughter, Beatrice, adored them.

"He said he was under strict instructions from the five-year-old to get their autograph and, if possible, a photo."
