American Idol - Paula Abdul's breakup rumours

Rumours are swirling that American Idol judge Paula Abdul may have split with restaurateur JT Torregiani.
According to New Zealand-based news source Stuff.co.nz, Paula's friends have claimed she and JT are no longer together - and that he may not have been very committed to the relationship.
An unnamed source claimed: "He wasn't that serious about it and hadn't invested too much in the relationship."
It is thought that the American Idol judge's relationship may have been damaged when she did not appear at the opening of the Beso restaurant, which JT opened with actress Eva Longoria last month.
Meanwhile In Out Star reported that a possible cause of the breakup may have been Paula's time-consuming beauty routine, which is rumoured to take as long as four hours to complete.
Paula, who is 45, is thought to spend large amounts of time on her hair and makeup to perfect her look for fans.
The website quoted a Hollywood makeup artist who stated: "Getting her out of the house is a major effort. How can it not get in the way of real life?"
On American Idol, Australian Michael Johns was the latest contestant to be eliminated from the reality TV programme following the Idol Gives Back charity campaign last week.
