American Idol - Dolly Parton launches new album

Country music superstar Dolly Parton performed an intimate club gig in Los Angeles last week to launch her newest album.
The singer - who mentored the contestants on American Idol this week - performed three new tunes from her new album Backwoods Barbie, as well as classic tracks 9 to 5 and Jolene, NME reported.
On this week's American Idol, contestants performed a selection of songs made famous by the blonde musician.
The performance show, which was broadcast in the US last night and is set to air in the UK on Thursday evening on ITV2, featured Brooke White singing Jolene, an arrangement of Little Sparrow performed by David Cook and David Archuleta's rendition of Coat of Many Colours.
Dolly is also expected to appear in this week's results show, where she will perform her newest single, Jesus & Gravity.
According to the singer's official website, she will make a number of live appearances in the UK this summer to promote the Backwoods Barbie album, including performances in Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham and Cardiff, as well as several shows at the O2 Arena in London.
