Whitney Thompson has won season 10 of America's Next Top Model.
Whitney Thompson has been celebrating after Tyra Banks revealed she was America's Next Top Model on Wednesday night.
She has won a deal with Elite Model Management and will appear on the covers of CoverGirl and Seventeen.
Whitney is determined to be a good role model and is looking forward to the challenges ahead.
She is the first curvy girl to win the show.
Whitney told People magazine: "No matter what, I want to be a role model.
"I hear my 13-year-old cousins say, 'I'm so fat.' But they're perfect. They're beautiful. And they're too young to think like that."
She is touched by the response she's been getting since the season started: "Already, I have received fan mail from people — boys and girls — from all over the world, telling me how much they admire me for just standing up and saying that I have a body."
Whitney is ready for a change: "I'm ready to knock down doors. I'm moving to New York. My bags are packed, I'm ready to go."
