Tyra Banks and her America's Next Top Model co-producer Ken Mok are set to produce a new reality programme about working at a fashion magazine.
Fashionistas, which is set to air on the CW - the same network that broadcasts America's Next Top Model - will seek to find a new fashion assistant to work at Elle magazine.
The magazine made headlines this week when rumours emerged that Nina Garcia - who is a judge on the US version of Project Runway - had left her position as fashion director at Elle.
The Philadelphia Inquirer jokingly implied she may wish to try out for Fashionistas if she wants another job at Elle.
It is not known yet whether Nina will appear on the next series of Project Runway - which normally offers a photo spread in Elle magazine as the grand prize for the most talented up-and-coming designer.
Earlier this year, marieclaire.co.uk claimed Fashionistas could air in the US later this spring.
The programme is expected to feature representatives from Elle magazine in presenter and judging roles and has previously been described as "The Apprentice meets The Devil Wears Prada".
