America's Next Top Model - Sarah VonderHaar to release album

One of the candidates from America's Next Top Model cycle eight, Sarah VonderHaar, is set to release her debut album.
She became the sixth girl to be eliminated from the show, but that has not stopped the blonde beauty pursuing a career in the public eye.
According to Starpulse.com, the 21-year-old has already acted in a film, photographed a spread for Forbes magazine and completed a full studio album entitled Are You Listening Now?.
The first single, I Got Sunshine, is due to be released in the US on April 22nd. It "describes how to deal with the troubled world we live in by staying optimistic", Sarah told the website.
She also revealed that she started playing guitar aged 12, but only became strongly interested in music when she began to make connections between her favourite poems and song lyrics.
The multi-talented youngster first applied for series seven of the hit US show but failed to get through the casting round, but was chosen for series eight because of her 5 foot 9" frame and distinctive elfin features.
She follows in the footsteps of Naima Mora, the winner of cycle four, who is part of the band Chewing Pics.
