28 February 2008 - Paulina Porizkova has claimed she would rather be the Simon Cowell-type judge on the show than the Paula Abdul-type.
The model, who joined the series this month to replace Twiggy on the judging panel, claimed that she prefers to be the "mean" judge on the programme and likened herself to American Idol's Simon Cowell.
"I much prefer to be Simon [Cowell] than Paula [Abdul]," Paulina told the New York Daily News. "I'm sorry, but she needs to snap out of it … you have no respect for her opinion."
Paulina also referred to herself as a "bad mama" because she has already chosen her favourite contestants, whereas presenter Tyra Banks prefers to remain more objective.
Meanwhile, Tyra - who has recently been named in a list of celebrities who have recently been spotted wearing a fringe by the Sioux Falls Argus Leader - announced this week that she is teaming up with Punk'd creator Ashton Kutcher to create a new reality programme, which is expected to air on US network ABC later this year.
The World Entertainment News Network has hinted that the unscripted show may focus on a group of "beautiful people" who all live together.
