Staff at US fashion magazine Elle are reportedly irritated by the new reality show filming at their headquarters, it has been suggested.
The New York Daily News reported this week that staff have been "driven batty" by the Tyra Banks-produced reality programme Fashionista.
It is thought that the programme will feature a number of wannabe magazine staffers competing for a role as assistant to Elle's creative director, Joe Zee.
But the newspaper reported that an insider at the magazine has called the shoot "a nightmare" as the contestants are getting in the way of Elle staff who are trying to do their jobs amid reality TV chaos.
"And his real assistant hates it. No one believes they're actually going to hire the person who wins the reality show," the unnamed source added.
Madonna is on the cover of the current US version of Elle magazine, which also contains a number of features encouraging readers to "go green in style" including news of an eco-collection at clothing retailer Banana Republic, organic fashion designs and a story entitled Holistic Beauty For Dummies.
