America's Next Top Model presenter Tyra Banks is among a number of celebrities who are fans of Spanx hosiery products, it has emerged.
According to theimproper.com, Tyra, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba and chat show host Oprah Winfrey also use the slimming undergarments.
The supermodel, talk show presenter and television host appeared on the cover of US magazine People last year and said that since she retired from modelling in 2005, her weight ranges from 148 pounds to 162 pounds.
Last January, Tyra claimed she felt "hot" in her 32-inch waist jeans, but added that she prefers her body when she is eating healthily.
"It's when I put on the jeans that used to fit a year ago and don't fit now and give me the muffin top, that's when I say, 'Damn!' ," Tyra has previously stated.
The Spanx range includes clothes, tights, socks and hosiery that give the appearance of a slimmer silhouette.
In other America's Next Top Model news, last week noted fashion photographer Nigel Barker told the Arlington Heights Post that the secret to creating a successful reality show is to make sure the contestants are not performers.
He added that while he thinks Tyra is a smart and successful businesswoman, she can "fly off the handle" when she loses her temper.
