Adam Croasdell's sexy bribe

Adam Croasdell's sexy bribe

Adam Croasdell bribed 'EastEnders' bosses so he could get close to his stunning co-stars.

The hunky actor - who played Dr. Al Jenkins in the BBC One programme - persuaded the writers to pen saucy storylines for his alter-ego so he could be "set up" with the show's beautiful actresses, a technique he plans to use forever more.

He told BANG Showbiz: "Being referred to as a heartthrob is definitely strange. But I think the sort of bribe that I gave the writers on 'EastEnders' - to set me up with all the girls in the show - was great. I'm definitely going to do that on every programme I'm on from now on!"

During his stint on the Walford-based soap, Dr. Al snuggled up to both single mum barmaid Roxy and her love-rival Chelsea.

Adam, 29, is upset Al didn't get together with the show's legendary landlady Peggy Mitchell - played by 72-year-old actress Barbara Windsor.

He quipped: "That would have been amazing. I mean that would have been a storyline that everyone would have talked about.

"But what a gal! Babs makes it worth going into work everyday."

Adam recently left the soap after nine months as Albert Square's resident GP.

Although he loved his time there, he was disappointed about the size of his role and is now looking forward to trying his hand at something new.

He said: "I've finished shooting already, and I will be officially off the air later this month. I'm definitely looking forward to a new chapter. 'EastEnders' was great, but I kind of felt like I didn't have too much to do in the show. I would like to do something that I can really get my teeth into."
