Gordon Ramsay suffers a rather intimate burn

Gordon Ramsay needed hospital treatment after suffering a burn to his private parts, he has revealed.
The TV chef described the painful accident prior to accepting an award for Best Chef at the GQ Men of the Year awards.
He described how he accidentally exposed himself to too much heat while preparing a meal, saying: "The other day I was standing too close to the hob when I was cooking. I was wearing cotton trousers and underneath I was going commando."
The 40-year-old star of The F Word said he felt "searing heat" down below and was forced to seek treatment at London's private Cromwell Hospital. He added that the pain was "absolute agony".
Ramsay, who advises restaurants on how to avoid disaster and bring in more customers on TV's Kitchen Nightmares, recently announced that he plans to add ten more pubs to his empire during 2008.
In his first foray into pub ownership, at London's The Narrow, Ramsay said he enjoyed the challenge of creating the "very best" versions of pub classics such as pork pie and hake and chips.
He has also created a DVD which demonstrates how to prepare the perfect gin and tonic.
