Penelope Cruz has never fallen in love with a co-star on the set of her movies.

The Spanish actress - who has previously dated Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey who she starred alongside in 'Vanilla Sky' and 'Sahara' respectively - focuses on her film roles, not her personal life when she is shooting a movie.

Penelope, who is currently romancing her 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' leading man Javier Bardem, said: "I have never fallen in love with someone I am working with. It has always been afterwards. If something becomes friendship, then maybe months later it becomes something else. You never know what's going to happen."

The 34-year-old brunette beauty plays a woman searching for happiness in new Woody Allen movie 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona'.
