Natasha Bedingfield used to wear a belt to bed in a bid to look thinner.

The 'I Wanna Have Your Babies' singer believed wearing a tight belt while sleeping would give her a smaller waist.

She said: "I used to wear baggy clothes so boys couldn't see my body. I even used to sleep in a belt as I thought it would give me a skinny waist."

The 26-year-old singer insists she is now much happier with her womanly figure.

She added to Sugar magazine: "As I got older, I realised loads of boys like girls who have curves. We all have a 'type'.

"I fancy different guys to my friends and it's never based just on how they look."

The 'Unwritten' singer is currently dating estate agent Matt Robinson, but refuses to talk about their relationship.

She has previously been romantically linked to Nick Lachey and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine.
