Kerry Katona's show axed
Wednesday, 19 November 2008
Kerry Katona's new TV show has been scrapped.
The former Atomic Kitten star - whose dazed, slurred conversation on 'This Morning' recently caused concern - was set to be followed by cameras as she attempted to re-launch a music career in Nashville, America, but MTV bosses have now axed the idea amid fears for her mental health.
An MTV source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Kerry is in no fit state to make a show. We will have to wait and see how she fares in the immediate future. We want to see if she can start taking care of herself."
The mother-of-four - who suffers from bipolar disorder - will make a one-off programme for the network before taking a break.
She has previously starred in MTV documentaries 'Kerry Katona: Crazy in Love', a series which followed her new marriage to Mark Croft, and the special 'Whole Again', which saw the troubled 28 year old have £15,000 of cosmetic surgery.
