Jordan and Peter Andre have hired a 24-hour security team after discovering their house was nearly burgled.

When the couple were forced to take drastic measures after returning from a holiday in Cyprus with their three children to find someone had been trying to force entry into their property.

Jordan said: "We found out that people have been trying to break into our new house while we were away so we have had to get 24-hour guards. We didn't want to get dogs because of the children. Apparently there have been people in the bushes and all sorts!"

Jordan, real name Katie Price, also revealed she suffered severe sunburn while she was away on her relaxing sunshine break.

She added: "I burnt my legs really badly. I covered myself with a cocktail of baby oil and olive oil and they are peeling now and look awful. I'm doing a shoot for my new perfume soon so my make-up artist is going to have to work his magic and put lots of moisturiser on!"
