Harrison Ford's film hate?

Friday, 21 November 2008

Harrison Ford has hinted he didn't like 'Indiana Jones and The Crystal Skull'.

The 66-year-old actor reprised his role as the adventuring archaeologist earlier this year but has suggested he didn't think the movie was as good as its predecessors in the franchise.

He said: "Can I be critical about it now? I have two heads. I can go inside or outside the film. I think that's important for me to see it in an external way.

"That external head has no mouth. That external head is smart enough to keep his mouth shut."

When asked if the final script was his favourite of the several plot lines mooted before the film started shooting, Harrison replied: "This was the final incarnation. I came to agree to it. "

Despite his apparent reluctance to praise the film, Harrison admitted work has already begun on a fifth movie.

He added to MTV News: "The ball is in [producer and creator] George Lucas' court. That's the process. With some general input, he goes off and searches for a MacGuffin [technical term for a plot device to propel the movie] then stumbles into a story. And at some point, we have a chance to take a look at it and give some input."
